In its new store design, HEIKAUS combined fresh, modern and yet timeless colours and shapes with natural materials. Upon entering, the customers will find corrective lenses and sunglasses on either side, arranged on long presentation walls with indirect lighting. The architects chose lime, brown and green pastels that form a harmonious image with the natural MDF of the sales furniture. A particularly cosy and recognisable effect is achieved by the woven vinyl flooring, skilfully complemented with the CI colour lime green. The same green is reflected in some of the walls, upholstery and chairs. Uninterrupted consultation without loss of transparency is ensured by a Parsol glass pane between the four consulting tables in the corrective lens area. Relaxed consulting takes place on a long standing table right in front of the sunglasses’ presentation. Modern bar stools make this area appear pleasant and relaxing.
Children’s glasses are presented in an attractive design and unconventional arrangement on round wall displays reminiscent of mirrors. Its unique look is achieved by a surrounding leather strip that is simply pinned to the walls.
A comfortable lounge corner with armchairs in a modern 1970s style holds the exclusive glasses that are also presented on round wall displays. A store design concept, with living room atmosphere.
The rear area of the store leads to the low-vision department, with the service area, refractory room, optometric area and hearing acoustics. Imaginative cubic sitting islands are combined with display cases to form a relaxed whole in which more goods are presented. Right next to the pure and dark cash desk area, the newly installed stairs lead to the upper floor, where about 170 sqm house the workshop, the contact lens area, another refractors room, the glasses ordering area, as well as the offices and social rooms.
