After the necessary disassembly of old furnishing elements and their disposal, HEIKAUS coordinated various interior design crafts. The painting team coated about 210 m² of ceiling surfaces, including approx. 130 m² of delicate old stucco ceiling and wall elements. Nearly 400 m² of wall area were re-designed with various matte paints and more than 100 m² of existing profiled wood paneling were professionally refinished. The renovation services also comprised processing the existing oak parquet on the upper floor and the beautiful old oak stairs that lead from the ground floor to the first floor.
Beyond this, various tiling, ventilation and electrical work was required. The carpentry work on the two floors was particularly comprehensive. Oak-veneered covers were professionally reworked and newly stained; large new menu boards were installed above the pastry bar, tables as well as shelves were restored, benches were padded with leather and re-arranged.
It was a comprehensive tenant development project with services that went far beyond interior development. In the scope of the general contractor’s services, HEIKAUS also coordinated the new production of the outer advertising facility, including the two illuminated brand scripts and updating five other lit banners in the outdoor area. After a total conversion time of only one week, the Starbuck’s restaurant at the Bahnhofsplatz was able to receive guests again in a radiant new ambience and the flair of an old and yet modern coffee house.
